We performed site visits to review the condition of the exterior walls, roof and parking garage at the building. Areas of vinyl siding and roofing were removed in selected areas and the underlying conditions were reviewed. We found that that the exterior walls and roof were not constructed properly in many places. We also found that water was seeping through the garage walls and slabs and was pooling on the floors in places.
We designed a new fiber-cement board siding system to replace the existing vinyl siding on the exterior walls. We provided specifications and details for a new roof system and we redesigned the garage waterproofing and drainage system. During construction, we performed periodic site visits to review the repair work.
